    SIREP-WIB-EXERA



    WIB has two sister organisations, Evaluation International (SIREP) (United Kingdom) and EXERA (France), who together form SWE International Instrument Users' Associations. The SWE Liaison has a common mission statement. All EI, WIB, EXERA assessment reports are distributed amongst each other's members.

    NAMUR



    WIB has a close relationship with the German end-users' organisation NAMUR (International User Association of Automation Technology in Process Industries).

    A liaison agreement aims to improve the co-operation between NAMUR and WIB in the areas of common interest. Liaison activities concentrate on effective actions and communications aimed at improving the quality and 'fitness for purpose' of instruments and systems used in the process industry, and on obtaining an international profile on behalf of its members.

    FHI Het Instrument; Industrial Automation



    WIB has a formal liaison with the Dutch branch organisation for industrial/process automation, FHI-IA. FHI-IA is an association for nationally and internationally operating suppliers of instruments, products and systems for the automation of production processes. The branch organisation is a member of the Federation of technology branches Het Instrument.

    PATO Foundation



    PATO - Institute for Continuing Engineering Education - is the leading foundation in the Netherlands providing education and training specially designed for persons who have a degree in engineering (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) The mission of PATO is to develop and organise short courses in advanced technologies. PATO specialises in open short courses, presented by selected experts from The Netherlands and abroad. WIB emphasizes the meaning of education of skilled staff for measurement & control engineering and appreciates the activities of PATO in this area.
